Have some older CDs I can't download data from
Anybody know some decent utility software that fixes problems with CD's? I suspect a CD burner I used to have was flawed. The folder/files show up in the finder but won't download to the hard disk. There's some kind of disc error. I'm using OS 10.3.9.

1. Is there any dialog window?
Can you open any documents?

BTW, just pulling this out of my ass: have you run "Repair Disk Permissions lately"?

Just how old is the CD?

4. Thought I had run disk permissions,
but I'll try again. The CD is three to four years old. I suspect it was bad CD burner as I've had trouble with nearly every disk I burned with it. Like I said, I can see the file icons in the document window and even open them up in their native applications. Just can't download them onto the hard drive.
