Or is Parallels being a VM, there should have no problems with intrusion?

yes, you need to run that software when running WINDOWS. since all its lovely issues appear
Oh and I do hope for yer sanity you got XP and not Vista

After all I've read about Vista, both prior to and after it's release, I wouldn't let that program anywhere near any of my computers!

Then I found out it would make the machine just as vulnerable as a PC so I shelved the idea. I do have an un-used version of XP if anyone wants to purchase it.
