My favorite mind-mapping, outliner and all around "keep it together in a graphic way" tool
Edited on Mon Mar-17-08 01:33 PM by Bongo Prophet
I have been using Zengobi's Curio for a few years now. It's a scrapbook/idea organizer/etc/etc all in one app that makes keeping links, code snippets, pics, ideas and quick drawing or voice recorded notes just one click away. For someone like me that has way too many things going on at once, it is a godsend. I have a scrapbook of DU research, that has links and facts ready to go, and just drag photos or whatever right to the screen, resize it and it is clickable back to the original. I love that.

It also has the best image finding tool I have ever seen (called "sleuth") that has links to dozens of image sights on the web -- I have used it for presentations and design guides, as you can publish the whole book on the web.

Okay, I sound like a salesman, crap. Anyway a good tip for my fellow mac DUers...

I just got an email that they are having a sale on it, and thought I would pass on the info.

Here at Zengobi, we decided to join the madness this year with a special promotion of Curio, our innovative brainstorming, mind mapping, project management, and note taking application for Mac OS X.

For two days starting on Monday, March 17th, Curio will be available at 50% off. This includes new and upgrade licenses and even our already super-discounted academic prices available through our Zengobi Academic Store!

Then, for the next two days beginning on Wednesday, March 19th, the discount will shift to 33% off.

Then, for one last day, the discount will go to 25% off on Friday, March 21st.

Dates Discount Coupon Code
March 17th & 18th - 50% off --- MADNESS50
March 19th & 20th - 33% off ---- MADNESS33
March 21st -------- 25% off ---- MADNESS25

Edit to add: As I was checking for a picture and link to put in this post, I noticed the new affiliate program (honestly) - I can't afford the upgrade right now, (I am on version 3)so if anyone here looks at it and decides to get it, please PM me for my email address. This will give me an upgrade (at no extra cost to you,of course) if you put that address in the "where did you hear about it" slot on their Kagi sales page. Or if not, that's okay - this is a really amazing tool that I wanted to share.
