serious.

That is why they have announced they will get the next OS out a year early.

Been thinking of getting XP to run a couple programs on my mac, but I still wonder about that

Also LINUX is up and coming on some ways

2. I'm hoping to be running Linux on a laptop soon. I have the feelers out
for a good used laptop, but I'm in no hurry.

If you look at MS's stock, it has not been an investment one would want if you are looking for growth. It's been flat since the turn of the century.
