Any way to transfer bookmarks from pc to Mac?

I am a bookmarking fool, have subfolders in my subfolders. I have over 150 bookmarks on my old pc, I sure would like to transfer them in one fell swoop rather than going to each site and re-bookmarking it on the mac. Any suggestions?

That's what we use to keep them in sync with Firefox, but I suppose it depends on what browser you're currently using in Windows and which one you'll want to use on the Mac? Here are some other things I found through a quick Googlage...

I was using Windows Explorer for most of the life of my pc, went over to Firefox the last 6 months I used it. I can't remember if I was able to import my bookmarks from Explorer to Firefox... I think I was. If so, I'll try Foxmarks. (Can't do it now because I'm illegally surfing at work. :P)

4. This is how I do it.

I export those bookmarks from my browser as html, then send them in an email to myself. Mind you, you have to click on each and every one of them, saving the ones you really want. It's also a good way to weed out the ones you don't need anymore.

I've done this several times, and it's about the only way that worked from a PC to a Mac for me.

5. bookmarks.html

assuming you are using windows 2k or later:
\documents and settings\yourusername\*hdden*Application Data\mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\1234.default\bookmarks.html
this is your most recent bookmark file.

Copy that file to your mac, in the same folder:

\Firefox\profiles\blah\

that's it. when you open up Firefox the next time it will load your bookmarks from that file.

This trick works for Linux (a REAL OS ;) ) as well.

If you want to move your IE bookmarks, you need to copy the FAVORITES folder - which is how MS saved it's book marks - as individual files, thus eating up hard drive space.
