.Mac turns into .Me tonight.
I'll stick with .Mac. I even registered extra accounts.

.Mac forever. .Me never.

1. I'll be .Me then
I guess. I can't see much difference, other than a name change and the ability to be more of a backup server. Also you get 10 Gigs more space.

Why do you not want to switch?

2. It's just the name. They have allowed us with .mac addresses to retain them.
The whole change to ".Me" is about removing the stigma of "Macness" from the product.

I welcome the new services, I just don't want the name, so I will stick with my .mac addresses.

The .Me logo looks just like...

.Me is some Madison Avenue type's idiotic idea.

5. As a new Mac user, what's that about?
Is this about the "Mobile Me" service?

6. Yes,
I have the service that is now .MobleMe.

We had some issues back in the summer. I don't think Apple planned very well for the sheer volume of work involved in that migration. For example several of us on DU couldn't get email for several days.

But all seems to be functioning well now.

7. Ever since
the changeover I'm no longer able to access my websites in iWeb. I can't update or change anything.

Anyone else have this problem?
