2. Doesn't work, for starters....
Still doesn't recognize my iPod, after every other iPod trick in the book. Looking at the forums on Apple, sounds like I'm one of the few and far betweeners.

4. As far into the "5R"s as I could without my iPod being recognized...
Even disk mode won't appear.

Kinda dead in the water, so to speak.

6. Nope...completely iPod non grata...
No other computer, PC or Mac, will recognize it on several different USB ports and cables.

Never seen anything like it.

7. Have you taken your iPod into an Apple Store to see if they can help you out?.?.?
More than likely they would be willing to help you out. I think I would try that, perhaps they could reset it. It's worth a shot.
