Replaced my iPhone with the new 3G model

My kid decided he wanted an iPhone so he bought mine from me and I bought a 3G. So far, not much difference. The internet doesn't seem much faster at all. And the battery life is still not as long as I wish it would be. (That's actually my only complaint about the iPhone. If you do much online, the battery runs out pretty quickly.)

The speakers are a little bit better. Don't need to use headphones to hear when I play youtubes.

Really so far the biggest difference seems to be the camera. The 3G takes much better pictures. :)

1. I hear the battery life is just a few hours.

Can't get through a full day on a single charge. Disappointing. I wanted to switch from a Berry to iPhone, but I think there are kinks still to be worked out.

3. Maybe it's a bias of the Apple discussion groups.

Everyone happy with their phone isn't posting on the discussion boards. Those with bad phones or problems are.

battery saving tips just after getting mine, and found some good stuff regarding settings:
