I'm using
http://coursecompass.com/for my "blended" math class. It's a combo of in-class and on-line course work.
Here's what I'm using.
Firefox
3.0.5
iMac 8,1
with Mac OS X 10.5.6
2.66 ghz intel core 2 duo
The plug-in is called TestGen.
http://wpslive.pearsoncmg.com/cmg_student_testgen_1/39/10036/2569280.cw/index.htmlThe entire CourseCompass.com doesn't seem to work with Safari(3.2.1) at all, so I went' with Firefox.
The CourseCompass.com will work with Firefox except for this one stupid plug-in won't work.
and I HAVE to have it to take test.
I downloaded the plug-in, but it doesn't seem to go into Firefox...or there is something special I'm missing that they don't list in the instructions.
I have already followed all directions to the "T".
I am not on my school computer, I am on my own.
I am the administrator.
I already installed Stuff It.
I already downloaded the plug in.
The plug-in said it installed itself into the browser (I'm using Firefox 3.0.5), but it did not.
I have a Mac with in intel processor so they want Rosetta enabled in the browser. It's enabled.
(I don't know what this Rosetta is, but they say it has to be enabled for this plug-in to work with Intel processors.)
Firefox is set as the default browser.
If someone could help me???? Please send me a PM??
The tech support is worthless, and keeps sending me info for PC/Windows users.
I've both called and did their BS on-line help. Should have been the "no-help" line.
PLEASE! Thanks!!!!!!
If nothing else, I can use my husband's PC.
But that would be such a hassle for both of us.
And I do have access on campus, but I have a 40 mile commute one way -- so that is not always viable.
