Let's break myths about Apple hardware being generic off-the-shelf tosh:

1. iMac screens. On the 24" models, Apple uses high end H-IPS panels. Picture quality is stunning and can't be beat. They also add a front clear cover (perspex?) to prevent the panel from being damaged if bumped. Nice. Extremely nice. Would prefer glass, but that would make it heavy.

2. Mac Pro: System allows slide-out components for RAM, and contains a lot of aluminum shielding in general. Definitely does not look cheap.

3. Mac Pro: RAM is fully buffered and uses hardware checking to ensure data integrity.

Please add your own, but the cost of the display screen in the 24" iMac series pays for itself in no time.
