So ... who else is enjoying update weirdness with Firefox?

I installed 3.5 in early July and used it for a while. A subsequent update (automatic notification: do you want to update? yep!) somehow replaced 3.5 with an earlier version so I didn't have 3.5 anymore. Why I noticed this, I reinstalled 3.5 using the dmg I'd saved from the July install; then I went to update (under the help menu) and was told I had a corrupt file I had to do a manual update. I found 3.5.2 and downloaded the dmg; it reinstalled 3.5 but now the update worked -- and installed 3.5.2. So now I've downloaded the original 3.5 dmg, as well as a phantom replacement dmg (supposed to be 3.5.2 but actually 3.5), and then another replacement dmg (actually 3.5.2, now installed -- for how long?). Incidently, the update function stopped working again: ...Update XML file malformed (200) You can update Firefox manually...
