I bought a samsung monitor to have a larger display. Is there any need to install the monitor driver disc that comes with the monitor? I thought you simply had to link it up with the mini dvi-vga adapter and you were good to go?

...... use System Preferences/Display and sniff around there. Click "Detect Displays" and the rest ought to be intuitive.
