1. Cool. OS X can read NTFS, but not write to it...
then again, the new firewire drives I bought are pre-formatted HFS+ and I transfered everything from my USB NTFS drive... I won't need the utility, but it'll come in handy for many...

2. I got it to be able to more easily move stuff from one context to another
I have OSX on one drive, Vista on another

If I'm running one OS and decide to do something I'll want access to in the other, it's drop and drag
