i don't completely hate the phone. i like having my ipod in my phone. i like checking my email and checking in on du while i am on the bus. etc, etc. but, don't you think they could manage the battery life a little better? what good is the damn thing without a battery?
it isn't the battery itself. it is the software. when i got it, it sucked so bad. less than 8 hours on a charge. then they updated, and it was acceptable. 24 hours or so. fine. last big update, yeah, the horizontal stuff is great. should have been there from the start. but ferchrissakes, there goes my battery again. back to less than 8 hours. gps? an hour or 2.
wtf. so, i would just as soon go back to the last version. nothing in the upgrade was worth the power drain. i started a tech support ticket, but since it has been more than a year, they want $30.
sometimes apple makes me crazy. anyone have a clue? i have been trying to look on the web, but there are so many complaints about this out there, i give up. i am thinking i will stop by the store and if they give me any grief i will promise to stand outside the store with a big ass sign about why i hate my phone.
