A cluster of ahem issues with snow leopard

no, not saying it is Vista... but here is a coincidence from hell.

I installed SL and to make a long story short they replaced the drive...

My two nieces not only had drives replaced one had a time machine back up that was corrupted and lost about a semester's worth of work, and the other has had quite a bit of issues.

As usual... yes there are problems with ANY OS... and back up, back up, back up.

I am at the point of actually considering online, on the fly back up, for that reason.

Of course lets not go into the nightmare that was vista ok.

But if you had issues with SL, guess what? YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

1. i think i just killed my daughter's mac book because she was having sl issues.

tried to wipe it, using my os discs, since we bought hers used, no discs. now it is stuck in a loop where it won't install the os, but wont spit out the disc, either. sheesh.

yeah, i had a 3 day nightmare with sl on my mac book. a real winner that one. look out linix, here i come?
