Question about the market for old macs

I have a couple of older G5 machines that i don't use anymore. One's a Mac Pro box, and the other is a Mac mini. There's also a bulky old Apple cinema display that goes with them. Both computers work fine.

Does anyone still use machines like that, and for what applications? I would like to sell or give it to someone who can still squeeze some use out of it.

1. If you want to donate, try (say) local school system or one of your favorite nonprofits; also,

political campaigns are winding up, and your local Dems can probably point you towards a candidate or coordinated campaign or OFA office that would happily take the machines. You might also try local community/tech colleges. And there's always Goodwill or the Salvation Army
