Need iPad help... how to delete an app?
We've put some very cool apps on my wife's new iPad, but also some that are not so cool (including one icon that simply says "Waiting.") Can someone tell me how to delete apps, arrange them on the screen, and otherwise manage them?

Thanks.

1. Tap and hold any app icon. They will all start shaking and small remove signs will
appear on each one. Remove the ones you want. When you are finished, just push the "big button" to return to normal functioning.

:hi:

6. Press and hold any app icon until all the icons shake on screen . . . . .
Some will have an X in a circle attached to them, some will not. The ones with the circle/X can be deleted by tapping the X.

While they are shaking, you can move then wherever you wish. If you wish, move one to the right and it will created a new screen for you. Then you can move icons from screen to screen, forward or back, at will.

Here's a neat trick: drag one icon on top of another. This creates a folder! You can name the folder anything you wish. You can drag anything else into it you wish. To remove from it, just open it and drag an app icon back onto the main screen.

By the way, if you accidentally delete an app, just download it again. iTunes' App Store remembers what you bought.

5. The other way involves a 1/4 drill bit, a cordless drill,
and ear plugs. But I don't recommend that you try it often.
