iCloud with no personal websites?
Lot of discussion over at the Apple boards about whether or not iCloud will continue to support iWeb one click publishing.

It's been a boon to us for quick websites to pitch ideas to clients.

I'm keeping my eyes open, but has anyone else heard anything? It would be really inconvenient to lose that capability.

1. I'm studying html5 and CSS to redo my portfolio site because I expect to lose my iWeb version.
I'm working with Dreamweaver because none of the simpler programs offer a template that does what I want.

iWeb was great. I've learned that much of what was just drag and position in iWeb is a long complex series of functions in Dreamweaver.

At least Dreamweaver is flexible and can make exactly the site I want.

It's a lot to take in but at least I'll be prepared when I lose my iMac website.

2. IWeb is still going to be a usable program for a while
It's just the publishing aspect that looks to disappear.

3. What? That is seriously bad news. I don't have time to relearn a new program...
Crap.

It wasn't fancy but it got the job done with a minimum of up front time invested. Crap. I guess our company will no longer be an apple company.

Time to move on.

4. I let go of my iWeb site
I'm looking for another hosting agency. I will probably have my own hosting space in the near future, fiance is a sys admin and allround server whiz. But I let go of it because it just wasn't working for me.

5. I'll probably end up doing the same although for now I'm sticking with mobile me.
Just bought a Mac mini server in prep of hosting my own sites. Can't say I'll miss the $150 per year cost...
