attacked by zombie cookies

A few weeks ago, i studied a website carefully, trying to figure out if i wanted to purchase their product.

Since then, I've noticed the company advertised on many sites that I've visited. At first I dismissed it as a coincidence, but later became suspicious so I deleted everything in my browser cache. To my surprise, the website keeps showing up in my cache after I've deleted all its contents, even though I've not visited it.

Well, this is my first interaction with zombie cookies. I am so annoyed by their intrusion! They just lost me as a customer!

I've not had a chance to figure out how to get rid of it, tho' i've found a website about it at http://machacks.tv/2009/01/27/flushapp-flash-cookie-removal-tool-for-os-x/
