i locked myself out of my computer .
i am the only user of this computer. i have been trying to find a little technical backbone to hold myself back from the giant time suck that we are all stuck in here.
i tried mac freedom, which was pretty good, except when i need to do real stuff on the web. i tried antisocial, but couldn't get the custom block to work. so i thought the mac parental controls might help. i just went there, and figured it was going to take me to some settings and instructions, but it just put me under control. this is the only used. i was signed on as an administrator at the time. now it wont let me log in to administrator. so now i can't change the settings.
argh.

2. call technical service, sadly.
gotta pound on it a little. just in one of those spots where my pounder already hurts.

i appear to be locked out of admin controls, tho. seems like it can't be. but this is scary.

5. figured it out.
it created a new admin, and i was missing a space in the name when i tried to log in.
or at least i think that is what happened. sometimes i can't believe that i can get computers to work as well as they do for me.
anyway, all better. still no technical spine support, tho. have to read up some.
