I DO NOT like the fact that the new system shows "<0" (sorry admins); I wish it would just show "0" for anything zero or less (as tracked by the software). This would look just like a thread that had not been recommended at all under the old system; I think people would be less hurt by that. Thus, in... another (non-critical) forum... I am going to recommend threads regardless of their merits if they have a "<0". I am posting this so I can add it to my journal to refer people to WHEN they question me... x(

I feel the same, and am certain that many others agree. I did note that posts in this forum can't be recommended, so don't understand why the option is even available. It serves no purpose. One can simply read (or not) and move on, or engage in discussion or debate. I share your face.x(

The counts don't bother me, most everything I post sinks anyway :P . My one thought though, is that a lot of people who have hurt feelings over something like this may be capable of having hurt feelings over just about anything. I mean the next step is someone is sad because all they have is a zero or a one, ya know?
