I have new cookware! Cooking With Calphalon, got a sweet
deal on a 12 pc set at Kohl's, plus a bonus piece free ..

List price: 279.00 for the set alone
sale price: 249.00 for the set
Then the $27.99 5 quart chili cooker was free.
And I bought an open stock piece, a covered 1 quart
sauce pan for $29.99 and it was marked down and

then I got 20% off everything at the checkout. The coupon more than paid for my
litte saucepan.

I boxed up all my old saucepans and skillets etc to give to my daughter, which will please her.

249.00
19.99
269.99
-53.99

216.00 + tax and I got the $27.99 chili pot free.

Sweet deal. Heavy enough , see through lids.

And I got it all in my cabinte too.

2. Oh man ..... you're gunna be cookin' yer fool head off now!
At least I would be. New cookware is like Christmas morning when your birthday falls on Christmas and you lost a tooth the night before and the Tooth Fairy, on a date with the Easter Bunny comes to give you your reward.

3. "and I got it all in my cabinet, too"

There's nothing more tragic than an impassioned cook with too little storage space, and I SO identify with that statement!!

My husband's standard response now whenever I mention a shiny new pan-sized kitchen goody I can't live without is "and you'll put it WHERE?"

oops! edited to add: Congrats on the killer deal! You're really going to enjoy the Calphalon.

4. Creative Stacking! MYhusband always says " And what are
you getting rid of if you get a new.......whatever?"

Well, my daughter now has a 6 quart soup/stock/stew pot, 1, 2 & 3 quart covered saucepans, a 12 inch omelet pan, another saucepan and a small 8 " omelet pan.

I rearranged the rest of the stuff in my cabinet and it worked out well. One thing I really wish I could do in this kitchen is have a nice pot rack, but there is no place I can put one that wouldn't bang my husband in the head.
