2. We have one piece in that blue ..... but I gotta tell ya .......
.... that stuff is **real** pricey. Try a Marshalls or Home Goods or Tuesday Morning. You might find Le Cruset seconds (that's what ours is) or you might find other brands. I think the lower cost alternatives will serve very nicely.

6. Ebay is also good.
Caplan-Duval in Canada has a competitor that's about a third less. It's worth looking for them for the Dutch ovens, especially.

3. I try not to look
and try even harder not to buy.

I would take flame, lemongrass and citron. Any of those would look beautiful in my kitchen!

5. I've always bought their stuff in flame
and I still love it. It's kind of a nuisance to keep bright, though, especially the round stovetop grill pan.

I find the color pops against all the other more sedate and sensible colors in my kitchen.

The first piece I had was a bright yellow skillet with white inside, thank you Morgan Memorial in Boston. It broke my heart when the chip that had landed it in the thrift shop extended cracks and more chipping throughout the cooking surface. I loved that pan.

9. I'd go for one of the blues
'cause blue's my fave..,

Eons ago my mom had an orange one, don't know what ever happened to that pan, I'm 'fraid my sis tossed it along with a bunch of other good stuff, but I never had the nerve to ask her. She hated it 'cause it was so heavy...

Keep dreaming, maybe one day your dream will come true. Which color is your pick?

10. I think that the red or orange make...
food look more appetizing, and the yellow and green ones make stuff look sickly. The other colors are neutral. (But, hey, if fitting in with the kitchen decor is more important than food looking like limp dung-- go for what matches the fridge.)

I also think that W-S is the LAST place I'd buy this stuff unless they are having a huge sale. Even out here in the wilderness we have a Le Creuset outlet and other places that sell LC for less and very similar knockoffs that probably work as well for even less bucks.

11. Blue color in the kitchen and food are not appetizing.
Well known for decades.

I cannot believe they sell blue cookware. For instance, this sausage looks bad in blue cookware, in my opinion.

12. I was told never use green napkins...
My set is blue - the old one-color kind.

Now they make the dark-to-light blue which isn't as pretty. Cobalt is the color, right? and since the inside is white, you never see the food against the blue anyway, unless you dribble...;-)

oh, and I love the way it cooks.

http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/color-meaning.html - but you're right
Avoid using blue when promoting food and cooking, because blue suppresses appetite. When used together with warm colors like yellow or red, blue can create high-impact, vibrant designs; for example, blue-yellow-red is a perfect color scheme for a superhero.

I guess it helps me diet?

13. I saw the Neeley's cook with the aqua one
and it was just beautiful. But I want a set. I don't think I could take too much of that
