Oh, my...............
Having absolutely no talent for baking, but suddenly craving something sweet, I mixed up a batch of these

and this place smells so good, I may never go outside again.

What's funny is that my craving is gone, but these babies will find a home.

Ghirardelli makes some very nice mixes, I understand. They've certainly got my vote on the basis of this one venture.

3. When I should be heading to bed,
after brushing and flossing, I couldn't resist.

Took a fork. Took a bite.

I got this mix on sale - 2 for 4 bucks. I wish I had bought 20 of them. 40.

80 wouldn't have been unreasonable.

So good......................

2. I buy their 60% cacao chips in 5# bags
and nosh on them for dessert. I need to make my stovetop brownies using those instead of Baker's some day.

6. Get out your cameras
Because if THAT were the case, it would surely be an Immaculate event.

Listen, the craving for sweets was a rare occurrence.

The yearning for hot dogs - AKA "life's blood" - is constant.

5. So, what did you think of them?.?.?
I usually make my brownies from scratch, however, I did try a couple of the Ghirardelli Brownie mixes, and I thought they were way too salty for my taste buds.

I never used salt in any of my desserts. I've heard "professionals" claim that salt brings out the flavor in chocolate, but I think chocolate HAS a flavor already and salt doesn't really enhance the flavors of sweets, so I never use salt in my desserts.

It's kinda like my SIL insisting that bacon brings out the flavor of pinto beans or green beans, but I think that isn't true as well. I used to think that because that was how I was raised, but since I've become a vegetarian I have found that it isn't necessarily true. Green beans especially fresh ones have a wonderful flavor without the addition of pork.

7. They were phenomenal
Solid, chewy, dense, just sweet enough. As close to candy as they can be without actually turning into candy.

Salty? I got none of that at all. I'll look for it when I next dip into them, but, no, not a hint of saltiness. I might not be as sensitive to salt as you seem to be, though.
