Someone PLEASE take this pan of shortbread away from me!
I'm thinking of getting one of my sisters a shortbread mold for her birthday so I'm testing recipes to include and I can't stop nibbling.

FORTUNATELY I only made a partial batch. :eyes:

Sometimes I have zero self control.

2. Not too often, as a matter of fact.
:D
I'm hoping I'll feel up to it when the early wildflowers start to bloom. The nat'l park here rocks in the spring.

I'll happily email ya a big bunch of the shortbread. It's sooo rich, but tasty. A little goes a long way so I don't need to keep much.

3. You live in one

of my favorite parts of the country. It's so beautiful. If I was wealthy and could afford not to work I would live up in those mountains and never come down except to restock supplies.

Do you ever listen to WDVX? When my favorite internet station is down, I like to tune into Grace and her Americana programming. http://www.wdvx.com/

4. We're close enough to the park boundry that we get bears wandering through the neighborhood.
:)
I love this place. My health keeps me home most of the time and I honestly don't mind at all. I do miss the ocean sometimes though. I grew up in California and it was an hour to the mountains OR to the ocean. That was pretty cool.

Thanks for the link. It's new for me. I'll check it out.

6. La County - San Gabriel Valley through school. Several cities, my mom sold real estate
and liked to move a lot. :D

Later on I lived in Huntington Beach.

I'm sure i wouldn't recognize the place now. I've been gone since 1990.

7. I moved down here
11 and a half years ago and I barely recognize my home town when I go back, either.

I'm heading up to bed now to read for a bit before nodding off. Have a good night. :hi:

8. San Gabriel Valley!
Growing up, I lived in the Rosemead, Montebello and Pasadena areas. I go back often for the good vegetarian Chinese restaurants, It’s changed a bit but still recognizable.
