Do you ever discuss dinner plans with your Significant Other before noon?

I can not think about dinner before 4:00. On the other hand, we can still be drinking morning coffee when Stinky says, "So what were you thinking about for supper tonight?" (As IF!)

"Do you want anything special tonight?"

just in case he might have been thinking of something he'd like.

Normally he says "Whatever you like, it's always good."
Makes us both happy, he gets to compliment me, and I get to pretend he makes the decision.

And I say "I don't know, ask me later this afternoon"

3. I used to but

it annoyed me when he'd say "I don't know!" I stopped asking. I just fix stuff and run it by him just before I do it.

I finally got wise, figured out what I had to cook on hand and give the Mr. K 2-3 options and ask if he has a preference

We both like to cook, and some things we make take a little advanced planning.

Running through what's in the fridge, what I can make out of what I have and what I might need to make it what I want. My husband could care less. He always says, "That sounds great", even though I don't think he is actually listening!

9. Not any more. Since I am the cook and planner...

the only thing I might do is announce what we're having so he can choose lunch accordingly. My family is very easy to please but they have this weird thing about two in a row meals. Like if I made a roast chicken the night before, they don't want any kind of chicken the next day. Beef one day, better have pork or pasta the next. No two "saucy" items in a row.

Oh, they'll eat whatever is put in front of them and they rave about it...but I have learned not to offer up too much beforehand, lol.

11. I don't think the two in row rule is all that weird

I kind of superimpose it on myself. The only exception is when there are leftovers and even then, I usually try to make it so that there's some kind of choice.

10. Every day. I like to know what we're having so I can double check

on ingredients. 9 times out of 10 I get an "I don't care," which is fine, although I sometimes get sick of thinking up meals.

We call it the "Million Dollar Question". I have broken Mr.sazemisery from asking me "Million Dollar Question" before Noon. If he forgets and does ask before Noon, then I tell him it is his problem and and ask what time will it be ready.
