Anyone wanna play "Share your favorite recipe?"
I was thinking it might be fun to post a thread every day or so to collect favorite recipes.

Like Chicken dishes one time, or vegetarian, or fruity desserts, etc. We could build a nice collection of recipes to try based on a main ingredient or food category that would all be housed in one thread.

Anyone interested?

16. I might not be a really good person
to participate in this since I really don't measure anything. I just go by sight, feel, taste, etc. I don't have recipes just ingredient lists.

17. Me too, but I think most people here are good at improv!
I'm always tweaking a recipe. Sometimes it's based on what I have in my pantry. Other times it might be because I like more of a certain flavor. That's not always true for something like breads, but for dinner ideas it can be helpful.

6. Cool! I think it could be fun. And a great way to collect new things to try.
But then again I'm kind of a geek so I think a lot of weird things are fun. :D

7. Color me geek, then.........
I'd love to see what people value. A whole different perspective.

And a great opportunity (for me, anyway) to take a look back.

You're doing good, kid.

14. In the meantime, I'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions on the topics too
I'm seeing a lot of great tips and techniques for working with ingredients popping up in threads where a solid recipe isn't really being discussed. I think that info is really useful too. It would be great to have that info in the threads with the recipes. If that makes any sense. LOL I'm getting sleepy.

20. I am definitely interested in seeing folks favorites by categories!
There are some wonderful cooks who hang out here. I want it all! Please just go ahead and pick a category and get going. It does take someone who is willing to spearhead such an effort and I thank you for volunteering.
