Even though it's icy cold and drizzly here, and the weather is hardly conducive to a drink I reserve for the summer months, I am rejoicing the completion of a bathroom remodeling (finished tomorrow!) with an icy cold - just like the weather - Pilsner Urquell with a shot of Rose's Lime Juice stirred in.

I had forgotten how damn good this combination is.

2. Can you believe

the guys showed up every day at the exact time specified -

cleaned up when they were done better than I would have done it -

were nothing but smiling and cheerful and competent -

even took my trash out for me when they left -

and told me today that they're gonna miss coming here because "you're such a nice lady."

See what happens when you ply them with cold drinks and hoagies?

Yeah, it's gonna be good to get it done. Thank you, thank you.
