Phooey, I just ate about half of the croutons I just made.
Had a loaf of bread that should be eaten in the next day or so. Thought a better use would be to make some croutons. Have not done it in a while, easy to do.

No problem, when done, just place in sealed jar, last for ages. Not this time. Really good. Without thinking much about it, as I was diddling around in the kitchen, munch here and there.

The cookie sheet is about half empty. Did I do that? Shoot!

1. Probably wasn't you. Crouton fairy infestations are common this time of year.

2. You did a Warpy
Man, you toss those homemade bread cubes with either butter or good olive oil and then add weeds and garlic and dry them in the oven and I defy any of you to avoid chowing down on them the second they come out, hot and crisp.

Soups and salads will simply have to be adorned with something else.

3. How did you season them?
I have a loaf of sourdough that could turn into croutons
