Got some boudin and need a good recipe
A friend brought me back some boudin sausage from Louisiana. The guys at work used to make some killer soup with boudin, but it's been so long ago, I have no idea how to make it. Any of you guys got a good recipe?

1. I like my boudin just grilled or cooked in a skillet.
I just love the perfect mixture of rice and liver and the skins are wonderful, if you like that kind of thing.

I might make some red beans and rice to have on the side, but I wouldn't open those babies up and use the contents in another recipe. That, to me, would be a waste.

2. I got some beans soaking
My first thought was beans and rice. Maybe I'll grill the sausage and put it in the beans. My aunt (deceased) was a full blood cajun and I miss her cajun food. Her and my uncle had a crawfish pond and catfish pond behind their house when they lived in Breau Bridge, LA. and he owned a half interest in a shrimp boat, so we had some serious good meals!

3. I really miss good Cajun food, too, and the Breau Bridge area has the best.
I recently made grillades and grits - just had to have it, and it was tremendous.

Hope your beans and rice come out well, and enjoy one of those Boudin's for me!
