3. Vacuum bags.

Those bags and hand sealer look like they are great. Aren't the bags washable and reusable? If so, how come one needs to keep buying more? With the Foodsaver, the bags are reusable, but you cut off about 1-1/2 inches every time you open it, so eventually it's too small.

Those hand held systems sure are space savers.

6. The Handi Vac is great!

Reynolds recently stopped supplying bags and those of us who loved this product were mourning it's demise. It's wonderful to see it back. Be careful when you buy one of the hand held units and make sure you get the Reynolds Handi Vac..the others don't work as well.

Just weeks ago they had a message on their phone system that the bags were discontinued. Public pressure.

Oddly enough, I noticed in the supermarket that Zip Lock has come out with a new product -- special bags and a hand-held vaccuum system for them!!

they appear to suck all the air out but soon after you find frost and brown meant. And I'm talking soon!
