I've had a hankerin' for that dish for awhile now,
and it came to a HEAD yesterday when my local grocery store
had boneles chicken breasts on "buy one get one free" sale -AND-
a few bottles of California-produced Marsala wine
in the bent-n-dented "island of unwantanted commodities" cart
they keep upfront next to the tiny "Manager Cuibicle"...

3. Thanks Pheobe! That was exacly what I was looking for.
That recipe sounds like my idea of what Chicken Marsala should be.

2. I made this one just last week and it was absolutely delicious.
I did not use the pancetta and I did add mushrooms and fresh thyme. I had peas on the side and served the chicken (and it's delicious sauce) on mashed potatoes.

Yum!
