The search for THE best peanut butter cookie is over.

And, of course, I found it over at Smitten Kitchen.

http://smittenkitchen.com/2007/12/peanut-butter-cookies/

I use a tad more salt (kosher), didn't flatten them or use chocolate chips, just peanut butter chips. And rolled them in the larger granules of organic sugar crystals.

They are totally awesome. :9

2. HI, B.!
They really are very good. We ate six of them straight out of the oven. LOL

Just been puttering around the house. Cleaning and cooking and resting a lot.

In the middle of making two double batches of pop tarts for Bill to take to work for their Wednesday meeting.

Hope you've had a good weekend, too.

3. Those look delicious. I've been thinking about using peanut butter cookies
to introduce my 3 yo grandson to baking with Granny since rolling the little balls and placing them on the sheets would give him a real hands on experience. I think we may try these.

6. That would work.
I didn't roll these in perfect little balls. I wanted them to look different, so I made what I call "sorta-balls." LOL Just round enough to look like a ball but still has some lumps in it. I'm sure a three-year old would do fine with that.

Have fun, Gran! :hi:
