I bet my 7 year old grandson that I could tell the difference between a hard boiled egg and a raw one without cracking the egg. I let him play with them all he wanted and he was stumped. So I spun both eggs and showed hiim that a raw egg would not spin but a hard cooked egg would.
Then I bet him that he couldn't make a hard boiled egg stand on end. He tried and tried to balance it to no avail. I took the egg and smacked it on the table top--it stood up.
See? Think outside the box and don't apply old rules to a new game!

2. Yeah, and we're learning fractions too. Nothing like an |
|
oatmeal cookie recipe to figure out how cups, half cups and quarter cups relate to each other.
