I'm making a whole wheat recipe and my daughter wants to use in her lunch sandwiches. I thought a standard loaf shape would be easier to use that way. Any thoughts?

1. I've not done it in a loaf pan |

but I have baked a round loaf in an open metal cake pan and it was fine. You can try it and see what happens, sweetie. Wish I had an answer for you.
 to the both of you.

You're the boss of your bread - don't ask it! tell it! ;)
Honestly, the only thing to watch out for is if the dough is too wet and too large for the pan...
I did that once and the dough curled over the edge of the pan and baked on. had a heck of a time getting the sucker out of the pan!!!

Thank you!
I made dough for the 10 Grain Bread from the Mother Earth Dec/Jan edition. I'll try the first loaf in a bread pan to see if it will work. I'll let you know.
