A Taste of Home
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/09/04/weekinreview/20100905_gilbertson.html?ref=weekinreview

Troops from nearly 50 lands dine on combat meals in Afghanistan — each reminding them of where they’d rather be--a taste of home in foil packets and powders.

(click on the packet from each country to see what's inside) I think I'd have to go with Australia. Maybe I'd chuck the Vegemite or maybe trade it for something else.

I was an army brat in my early years, and we always loved it when Dad brought home some of those army green cans. Who knew crackers would come in a can?

1. I thought the Skittles were bad until I saw the "musk" flavor candies!
There were several I thought were pretty interesting, but I think I could actually maybe warm up to the South Korean one.
