Soooo I still haven't made the chicken and dumplings I wanted last Sunday :)
BUT I did manage to make the stock and cook the chicken today and start some AI5 bread. SO tomorrow it's dumplings! With some great homemade stock.

AND roasted a huge batch of veggies for dinner. Sweet potato, Onion, Celery and Yukon Gold's. Inexpensive and seriously yummy. Roasting sweet potatoes in the mix is amazing. Olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Yum.

1. Roasted root veggies are the best secret out there
because it's the best nutritional bang for the buck going. Even things like turnips and parsnips change their surly natures when they've been roasted, with or without a little tamari.

Cabbage is also another overlooked nutritional powerhouse that's dirt cheap.
