The joy of shopping at commercial restaurant supply outlets!
I wasn't happy with the Emeril 8 qt stock pot that came with the set so I went to AceMart. Bought a 16 qt heavy aluminum pot that accepts the Emeril lid. Still using up .29 turkey carcass parts so started stock in my new pot. It heats to boil in half the time the clad SS did with wice the water! Cost less than $50. They had the same pot in a heavier aluminum for $30 but the bottom was concave -- would be fine for gas but not so good on my glass cook top.

I've had my Dexter knives for a month and although it's about three months early to render a meaningful opinion there has been no change in the edge even on the blades I use daily.

Every stuff too. I bought 1000' of clear plastic wrap for $6.25.

1. Yup, it's fun. We have a chain here called Gordon Food Service.
Nothing like buying 2 lbs of yeast for $3 or a gallon of molasses for $5. I mean, hey, it keeps!

3. I have been using the same chopping
knife I bought from Fingerhut when I first married over 40 years ago. I have never sharpened it, and have no idea what brand it is. I use it multiple times daily. It has a flat blade and a wooden handle with rivets. I love it.

American made, I am sure.:)
