But if I want to find the best base recipe to tinker with I usually go to http://www.allrecipes.com">AllRecipes - I LOVE reading how people tweak recipes and what their impressions of a dish are.

For inspiration I go to places like: http://www.tastespotting.com/">TasteSpotting
