Salon's Francis Lam


I just discovered this guy. Those of you who watch the Cooking Channel will probably already know him and you will laugh at my naivete'.

Two of my favorite articles he's written:

how to master roasted vegetables:

In the latter, he tells how to choose each item for the salad to add crunch, crisp, juicy, and chewy.

On each of the above, there are many comments (roasted vegetables, I think, garnered 70 comments, if I remember correctly. I read each comment and if the poster had something to offer, I added it to my file that I made of the article). But it's not unusual for his recipes to get 70-90 comments.

There is a very large collection of unusual recipes that he's written over the years. All are beautifully illustrated. The recipes are broken down into categories. See the categories at this page:
