Ran cross this when looking for info on a lettuce keeper (the only thing for which my green-yellow bags don't seem to do enough):

Can't see how any of those would do much toward preserving freshness. Can see how I'd think I'd wandered into some kind of produce S&M club in my fridge drawer.

1. The tomato saver is odd.

Same with the banana saver. How long do you want to save half a tomato or banana? A day?

I wrap my lettuce in paper towels before I put it in a green bag. Seems to help.
