any great recipe suggestions? I'm thinking garlic or clove inserted into cuts in the top and then an orange sauce that I keep marinating with.

1. With such a beautiful piece of meat I would just go as simple as possible |

You will have plenty of left overs that you may want to use in different ways and using a very strong marinade could compromise left over options. I would shove garlic under the skin and as deep into the meat as possible. Score the skin (fat) and just use salt and pepper. It will be delish. I would serve it with mashed potatoes and a side of sauerkraut. Make a simple gravy from the drippings. The you can use the leftovers for pulled pork, or stir fry or what ever you wish. Cook the meat plain and then sauce it up later....That's just what I would do.
I can't find a fresh ham here unless I order it from the farm or the butcher. =
