Apparently, this is one of the ways they will determine which groups to eliminate. I'd guess C&B is pretty safe, but can't hurt to subscribe anyway, as well as to other groups you enjoy that might be a little less active (like Gardening at this time of year.)

Maybe they imported the info in the last few days. When I went there earlier in the week, none of my groups were in my subscriptions. Then I saw Skinner's post asking us to subscribe, so I assumed everyone was starting from square one. :shrug:
