My latest pizza craze
On the grill!
I have one of those pizza oven stones and I place it in the grill at medium temp. Throw a Boboli pizza together with whatever ingredients are on hand: sauce, mushroom, jalapeno, cheese, and pineapple being my fav.
Drop it on the pre-heated stone in the grill and in less than 10 minutes I am eatin pizza. No oven heat, very little clean up, and nearly instant gratification.

1. Thanks for the tip....
Has anyone tried this with dough? Or should I be the first?

I may try this later in the week and build calzones this way.....

2. You can do this with or without a stone
If you do it without a stone, put a raw dough bare pizza shell on the grill. Allow the 'down' side to ccok until just about done. The 'up' side will stay near raw. Remove from the grill and flip onto a floured wood cutting board. The 'down' (cooked) side is now up. Top the pizza with as you wish. The toppings are best of cooked and hot, or at least warm (except for the cheese). Place back on the grill and let the bottom (formerly the 'up' side) cook and the toppings melt.

Remove and enjoy.

A gas grill is easier to use because you can regulate the heat and once you find the right temperature, it is consistent. Also, closing the top helps to melt the pizza toppings. A charcoal grill will work, but takes more care.

4. Charcoal grilled pizzas
I discovered through using my good ol' Weber kettle, it was best to use the indirect heat method for cooking, but no water for a crunchy crust...
