May I ask
Edited on Mon Mar-30-09 09:26 PM by Why Syzygy
for prayers for my kitty. He was a special gift from my son 2 1/2 years ago. He just turned three.
For about the past week, he has been holding his left paw up, and getting around on three legs. There were times when he did walk on all fours, so I didn't worry too much.

I have absolutely no funds, and can't take him to the vet. I might be able to work something out next week, but finances are always a burden. At first he was very adept on three legs. But, today he isn't moving around very quickly, and seems to be worn out.

It breaks my heart to see him like that and be so helpless. There are no outward signs of damage. I first thought he had a sprain because he has recently expanded his territory, including higher places. We moved in January to a house with a stranger (to him) and two doggies. So, until just last week he was confined to my room by his choice. I kept taking him out to familiarize him with the rest of the house and roommate, and now he wants to roam out there a lot of the time.

Thank you! His name is Boogie.

1. Sending prayers and asking for healing for Boogie
I hope Boogie is feeling better and his little leg isn't so sore now. Could he have something stuck in his paw, by chance? I'll be including you both in my prayers, and asking for healing for Boogie-

He was walking normally on Tuesday, the day after I posted.
But, since then, he has gone back to limping.

I've checked his paw repeatedly, but will do so again.
It occurred to me yesterday that I may have stepped on his foot and not remember specifically.
He does get under foot, but I usually manage to dodge him.

Thanks again.

3. He is walking on all fours today.
:bounce: Last night I gave his paw and leg a pretty good massage, each little bone, gently.
Still a mystery, but I hope it's resolved. Thank you for your kindness.

4. I'm so glad you posted an update on Boogie!
and to hear that his little foot is doing so much better, makes me smile! God is so good, and hears and answers all our prayers; even for our little loved ones like Boogie!

I think the extra TLC probably helped him feel better too-
