I've Known Dale for 50 Years

She and I grew up in the same small town in east Tennessee. Dale's youngest daughter, Amanda, fell and broke her back. While she was hospitalized after the fall some routine lab work indicated something was amiss. Amanda, a 29-year-old mother of an infant son, has multiple myeloma. She's had three surgeries on her back, the most recent one to de-bride an infection at one of the incision sites.

Please pray for Dale, Amanda, Wally (Amanda's dad), Amy (Amanda's sister) and Ogreeta (Amanda's grandmother). All of these people are so important to me, and I am heartbroken over the ordeal they are facing. Chemotherapy cannot begin until Amanda has recovered from the surgery, and Dale is very worried about the treatment delay.

however, I did read your post, and have been praying for Amanda, and her family. I cannot imagine the feelings they must be experiencing, and I can tell from your post how much they all mean to you.
