Prayers for guidance re: domestic abuse situation.

I'm doing some pastoral guidance/counseling in a situation that is very tricky. I've already made the referrals to a professional counselor for the in-depth stuff, etc. But I would appreciate your prayers not only for the situation, but also for me: that I will be able to listen, guide, and lead all involved to some form of healing (in whatever shape that may be), and that I will not get in the way, or do something stupid.

I'd also like prayers for my local church and its gossip lines. I need to address the gossip issue, because it is harming others.
