Please Pray for My Cousin
Mayra Wallace. Mayra has lung and brain cancer. She is a 48-year-old widow with an 11-year-old daughter, Danielle. Danielle's daddy died from heart disease just over one year ago, so this is particularly frightening for her.

Please pray for Mayra, Danielle, and their extended family. Our family is a typical, close southern family, and this is very frightening and painful for all of us.

Thank you.

Mrs. V.

3. I am honored to meet you, Mrs. V.
You have excellent taste in spouses!

Please keep us posted as to how things are going with your family. We're a small group - and, not everyone posts, but many are faithful readers and pray-ers. And remember, we're here for you, too.

6. I Was Raised Southern Baptist
and found the Episcopal church when I was in my early twenties. It has been a good spiritual home for me.

If you're ever in the Washington, DC, area, you'd be most welcome to worship with us at St. James' Parish, Capital Hill.
