1. I haven't stopped!

May Jill Carroll be released unharmed, and may it be soon.

I also haven't stopped praying for Tom Fox, Norman Kember, James Loney, and Harmeet Singh Sooden, the members of the Christian Peacemaker Teams who were abducted in November, threatened with execution, and have not been heard of for quite some time. I understand from NPR that members of the Christian Peacemaker Team remain in Iraq and that their job is NOT to proselytize but to help the Iraqis in areas such as reimbursement for property damage.

2. Our Prayers were Answered a Few Days Ago

With her safe release. Now pray for her healing and her peaceful return to her job (old or new). May she not have horrible memories of her ordeal to taunt her while she sleeps or works.

And prayers of thankingiving to those angels (human and otherwise) who cared for her and perhaps stopped others from doing worse things to her. Not everyone lost their humanity over there.
