Reminds me of my complete and utter failure to understand those on the right who were proclaiming the "end of history" some years back.

Maybe what I meant is that things are unfolding in ways I/we would never see now or be able to foresee.

I/We must remain focused on the light and good.

It is VERY hard for me.

I just want to envision a completely DIFFERENT and hopeful future.

A future where people don't have to work to feed, house, cloth or heal themselves, but where people "work" or "do" what they want because they enjoy it and it helps other people, and where the basic needs are always taken care of.

We have the resourses - we just have to share and make it happen.
